The X Factor’s Fleur East is apparently doing I’m A Celebrity this year
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will reportedly have Fleur East in its ranks this time around.
East was one of the most promising artists to ever feature on The X Factor when she competed back in 2014, but after scoring huge success with Sax things went very quiet for quite some time.
Fleur departure from Simon Cowell’s Syco record label was confirmed last year, and she’s now thought to be “negotiating” a visit to the jungle.
“Fleur was one of the most loved X Factor contestants in recent years, so she is bound to be a hit with audiences,” a source told The Sun.
“She’s part of the ITV family. The relationship is already there and they are just negotiating a deal at the moment.”
The insider added: “Fleur really wants to try to relaunch her music career in early 2019, so she feels like this is a great way to get her name back out there again.
“She knows she has been out of the spotlight for a while but wants people to see who she really is on the show.”
Emily Atack, Coleen Nolan, Malique Thompson-Dwyer and Marcel Somerville are among the other names being touted for this year’s run.
Holly Willoughby will join Declan Donnelly on hosting duties, while Ant McPartlin continues his hiatus from broadcasting.
The show is presumably back in November.
