Elle Fanning has no idea if her Woody Allen film with Selena Gomez and Timothee Chalamet will be released
Elle Fanning is none the wiser as to whether her project with Woody Allen will ever see the light of day.
Allen’s career finally seems to be taking a hit after ongoing accusations of abuse from his adopted daughter, Dylan.
A Rainy Day In New York – fronted by Selena Gomez and Timothee Chalamet – has been pending release for quite some time now, with rumours suggesting Amazon has shelved it indefinitely.
“There’s a lot of news about this but they haven’t told me anything,” Fanning told The Hollywood Reporter. “You just have to try to come to terms with it.
“I feel like the experience that I had matters the most at the end of the day, and you do some great work and literally no one is going to see it… but that’s the way it is.”
Both Gomez and Chalamet have donated their fees from the production to charity.
It was made as part of Allen’s five-film deal with Amazon, and cost around $25 million to make.
