Celebrity Big Brother 2018: Video shows ’Get Roxy Out’ chants pushed Roxanne Pallett to leave
New Celebrity Big Brother footage has shown last night’s crowd chants pushing Roxanne Pallett towards quitting.
As Emma Willis explained during the live eviction broadcast, a lot had happened between Roxanne and Ryan Thomas since the last highlights package audiences were shown – and this new teaser from tonight’s episode shows it getting darker and darker.
The whole furore stems back to Roxanne accusing Ryan of repeatedly punching her in a “violent” manner during a playfight, although 11,000 fans have complained to Ofcom – mostly on the grounds that Roxanne’s version of events is not what the video footage appears to show.
Many of her former Emmerdale co-stars, and his ex-colleagues from Coronation Street, have since spoken out against her.
Her exit from the house was confirmed this morning, and teaser footage – which can be seen below – shows her hearing the live audience chanting “get Roxy out”, and subsequently saying: “I’m going home. I need out.”

Housemates are also seen divided over the incident, with Sally Morgan very definitively coming down on Ryan’s side.
“If there had been violence in here, they would have come in, the person would have been removed immediately,” she says at one point.
Later, when Roxanne is reacting to the chants, Sally tells her: “Well, you’re going to get that, aren’t you. Because of what they’ve seen.”
Nick Leeson also tells her to apologise, while Ben Jardine and Gabby Allen are more conflicted.
A domestic violence charity has warned viewers about the potential reasons for Roxanne’s behaviour.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 10pm on Channel 5.
