Loose Women adds a Spice Girl and an Osbourne as guest panelists
Loose Women has announced two guest panelists for next week’s broadcasts.
Unfortunately bosses haven’t yet twigged that the best thing for the show is to clone Stacey Solomon and have her occupy all four seats on a permanent basis, but in the meantime we will have Mel B and Kelly Osbourne on the roster.
For Kelly it will be her first time, while Mel is a seasoned pro and did a few episodes earlier this year.
According to Digital Spy, they’ll do two days each as the ITV daytime team gets thrown left, right and centre by the summer holidays.
Incidentally one of Loose Women’s semi-regulars – Ayda Field – was yesterday confirmed for the X Factor panel; a booking that’s ruffled a fair few feathers online – given that she has never worked in the music industry.
“I’m here to find some great talent and make some great TV, that’s really my focus,” she said, according to the Daily Star.
“I want to help someone achieve their dream, so having someone like me there makes it more exciting, because it’s more of a challenge.
“It wouldn’t be as fun, so I’m excited to be the underdog.”
She went on: “I love my Loose Women ladies and I think it’s a privilege to be a part of that and do live television, because that was something also that helps me.
“I think if I hadn’t already done live TV I might be a little terrified, but I’m really excited for the live TV. I’m excited for the live shows.”
Loose Women is on ITV at 12:30pm every weekday.
