Gay conversion therapy drama Boy Erased gets emotionally charged first trailer
Boy Erased, an adaptation of Garrard Conley’s memoir, has had its first trailer unveiled.
The movie stars Lucas Hedges as the son of a Baptist pastor, sent to be “cured” of his homosexuality.
Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman (STRONG WIG) are the parents, while Troye Sivan and Xavier Dolan ensure there are a couple of genuine gay actors in the cast list.
Not gonna lie, lads, there’s a high chance this film will provoke uncontrollable sobbing.
Joel Edgerton is the man behind the camera, and the film’s out on November 2, after which we can probably expect a good few months of “””Oscars buzz”””.
