Nadine Coyle has admitted that going independent for her first solo album was a “mistake”.
The former Girls Aloud singer famously released 2010’s Insatiable via Tesco only – resulting in an unfortunate chart flop, despite some really good material.
“That was a mistake on my part,” she told Dan Wootton’s Bizarre Life podcast. “It was so tough.
“You kinda just get into a position like, ‘I don’t know what to do!’
“So I tried something new and it ended up just being so stressful.
“There was no online, nothing online, and it wasn’t in all the stores so it was unfortunate.
“I have learned to not try and do it by yourself.”
She also dished out some delicious Girls Aloud tea, some of which is here.
Her new tune Go To Work is out tomorrow.
