A reworking of George Michael B-side Fantasy, helmed by Nile Rodgers, has been released.
The song comes nine months after the icon’s sad death last Christmas.
Chris Evans explained on Radio 2 this morning: “Fantasy was originally meant to be on Listen Without Prejudice and was intended to be one of the singles from the album, but somehow it got lost in the ether.
“But George did then release it later as a B-side in 1990.
“Last year they were looking for a lead single for the reissue of George’s Listen Without Prejudice and to accompany the new film Freedom.
“Fantasy was George’s first and obvious choice so in early 2016 Nile reworked the record.”
