The X Factor will be back for its 14th season in early September, it has been confirmed.
In a shift from previous years – when the programme launched on August bank holiday weekend – the talent show is this time making its arrival one week later; on Saturday, September 2.
It’s not currently known if it will air on both Saturday and Sunday from the outset – but given rumours that the number of live shows is being cut, expect the earlier stages to be dragged out a little more.
Nicole Scherzinger, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne are all back on the panel, as you’re probably aware.
Matt Terry, last year’s winner, has yet to release his own music but has already hooked up with Enrique Iglasias for a remix of Subeme La Radio, and scraped into the Top 10.
Saara Aalto, the runner-up (read: rightful winner) has also yet to make her debut.
