Louisa Johnson’s ludicrously overlooked Best Behaviour has been certified Silver in the UK.
That’s 200,000 equivalent sales – despite failing to crack the Top 40 upon its release.
For contrast, the X Factor winner’s previous single So Good was certified Gold after peaking at No13, and Clean Bandit collaboration Tears went Platinum after hitting No5.
Louisa most recently teamed up with Olly Murs for Unpredictable but the combination of the two wasn’t as big of a sales draw as bosses perhaps hoped: the song went no further than No32.
With Louisa’s album still in the pipeline – now, by far, longer than any X Factor winner has waited – we can presumably expect some kind of big Kitchen Sink single at some point during the X Factor live shows.
She tweeted “Lj1 is fucking coming bitches” at the start of the month, so there’s that.
