Signs are pointing to new Kelly Clarkson music in the very, very near future.
The singer – responsible for Best Song Of All Time My Life Would Suck Without You – has announced plans to pop up on The Today Show on Friday, September 8, after holding a low-key album listening party last week.
This basically confirms that she should be releasing a new single at some point in the next two weeks.
Whilst this week would of course be preferable, lest we forget that Taylor Swift would likely overshadow any and all attention – so next week could also work just fine.
This will be Kelly’s first album since shifting to Atlantic, after fulfilling her post-Idol deal with Sony with 2015’s Piece By Piece, which gave us the best music-based reality television moment in the history of all life:
