Demi Lovato has explained why she’s nervy for people to hear one particular song on her upcoming album.
She’ll release Tell Me You Love Me on September 29, but there’s one track on it that people will apparently be able to see straight through.
“Sometimes you put out music that you just feel like everyone is going to know who it’s about,” she told MTV. “Headlines are going to come out of it.
“And when you write a song you’re just being vulnerable and writing about what’s inspiring you.
“So all the baggage that comes with it is what I’m nervous about.”
She added: “But it’s not bad by any means, it’s not a bad song. I just wrote about emotions that I hadn’t experienced before. It’s weird to even talk about.”
Asked if she’ll divulge background on it once it’s been released, she admitted: “I think that everything happens for a reason and certain emotions are felt at certain points in your life, and you don’t always have to explain them to people.
“You can just let it be, I think that’s probably what I’ll do.”
